The Perseverance crew has been with us since the building process and therefore know everything about the yacht. They are highly experienced sailors who have been working on yachts for many years. Sailing the seven seas and providing excellent service to our guests is their greatest passion. Our team will work directly with you to provide a one of a kind charter experience.

Ryan Taylor

Captain

Ryan Taylor

Ryan is from New Zealand and has spent 10 years working on yachts. Previously to this he studied and completed A Bachelor of Navel Architecture and Engineering and Boat Building. He is a very passionate sailor and loves to do anything water based and also riding his mountain bike. 

Ryan was involved heavily in the build of Perseverance and was in Finland for a year before the completion of the boat.

Anna Hewinson

Chief Stewardess

Anna Hewinson

Anna is from New Zealand and has been working as a stewardess since 2013. She started working on yachts when she was 18yrs old and has continued ever since. Anna was also in Finland for a year before the boat was completed, fitting out the interior of the boat. She enjoys baking and cooking, keeping fit, spending time with friends and family.

Daniel Green

Engineer

Daniel Green

Daniel was born in the UK and grew up in New Zealand since he was 8 years old. He has had an extensive career so far in engineering, also having grown up around a shipyard, Dan has been around this field of work for a long time. Dan likes watersports and is a keen a passionate sailor, having taken part in many high-performance sailing regattas in the past.

Jocie Tysoe

First Mate

Jocie Tysoe

Jocie is from Western Australia and has been working on yachts since 2013. Jocie is a dive instructor and enjoys all things outdoors! A keen reader and loves doing crafts in her free time. She has previously completed a Diploma is Training and Assessment and also completed her Officer of the Watch Tickets for Yachts, which is highly commendable.

Bruno Bortolotti

Chef

Bruno Bortolotti

Bruno is from Brazil and after spending many years in Ireland, he has since moved to Mallorca. 

He started his hospitality career in 2003 as a mixologist for several years and then progressed to working in kitchens. He has worked in a Michelin star restaurant in Brazil called “D.o.m”. When Bruno moved to Ireland he worked in a 5 star hotel as a chef and has experience in working in wine bars, brunch restaurants, Brazilian and fusion restaurants, teaching and cooking classes and catering businesses. He has also ran his own kitchen and bar in Ireland before progressing to work on super yachts. Bruno has worked on 2 boats before Perseverance, one being a day charter boat and another 67m sailing yacht. 

His interests are skateboarding, being outdoors and all things active. His cooking style is minimalistic and loves using local ingredients to create his dishes which are influenced from all over the world.
